Personas
This tutorial is cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Aim
Personas are a powerful method for keeping
focus on your target audience throughout the design process. However,
despite the increasing
popularity of the persona method, it is still very hard to find good
information on how to create and employ personas and how to use scenarios
for design and innovation. Therefore, Lene Nielsen (Snitker & Co.) will give a full-day persona tutorial.
Content
The tutorial is full day and in the tutorial you will learn:
How to gather data for personas. How to write a proper persona description
and to avoid the pitfalls of the method. How to get the right number
of personas. How to use scenarios as method. How to create use-cases
from scenarios
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at people who involve users in their design
process and who would like to be introduced to the persona method: e.g.
usability consultants, interaction designers, project managers, marketing
managers or web managers. Both practitioners new to personas as well
as experienced practitioners can benefit
from the course.
